**Job Overview**
Manages the day-to-day operations and long term planning for manufacturing functions, including manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, purchasing and shipping/receiving activities.
**Job Requirements**
+ Leading staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.
+ Driving the execution of operations activities, ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.
+ Defining departmental goals; coordinating strategies, communications, and joint initiatives for multiple and distributed facilities.
+ Accountable for overall operations performance and implementing production, cost, and quality control mechanisms.

**Requirements:**
+ Education: Bachelors degree
+ Minumum Experience: 6-8 YEARS In a similar position
+ Languages: English
+ Certifications: Lean Manufacturin
**Competencies:**
+ Analysis and improvement of operational efficiency (OEE)
+ Lean manufacturing methodologies
+ Inventory control and logistics coordination
+ Root cause analisys
+ Use of digital tools for reporting and process monitoring
**Functions-Responsabilities:**
+ Directly supervise the production manager and warehouse manager
+ Conduct operational diagnostics to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, bottlenecks, response times, and waste elimination/reduction
+ Rigorously monitor and demand accountability for key operational performance indicators, including OEE, scrap, productivity, inventory accuracy, absenteeism, training flexibility and others related to plant operations
+ Establish and maintain visual management routines and operational KPI dashboards
+ Challenge and motivate the management and operational team to achieve goals and objectives
+ Coordinate continuous improvement plans in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, CI, HR, EHS.
+ Ensure the efficient flow of materials from the warehouse to the production line
+ Promote and secure resources for the training and development of the operational team, supervisors and middle management
+ Actively participate in GEMBA tours, follow-up meetings, and problem-solving
+ Promote a proactive safety culture by ensuring compliance with industrial safety, environmental, and ergonomic standards in all operational areas of the plant.
+ Manage and control the operating budget of their areas of responsibility.
