Job Summary
The Manager, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) oversees the daily operations of the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role provides leadership in nursing practice, staff development, operational efficiency, and quality improvement. The Manager collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and achievement of organizational goals in quality, safety, and financial performance.

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing requiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in critical care required1-3 years of management experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical knowledge of critical care nursing practices and workflows.Proven leadership and team-building skills to foster collaboration and employee engagement.Ability to use data analysis and performance metrics to guide decision-making and quality improvements.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams, patients, and stakeholders.Knowledge of budget management, financial planning, and resource allocation.Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to critical care services.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational and clinical challenges.Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure requiredBCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) requiredACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
