TE Connectivity is seeking a MGR I MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEERING for Data & Device BU with location in Lamphun, Thailand. The MPDE Manager will lead a team of process development and automation engineers tasked with developing assembly processes for high-speed cable assemblies and coordinating with the Lamphun and Dongguan, China manufacturing engineering team on the transition to mass production.

Lead the planning, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery, and tooling. Drive improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and safety. Analyze process performance data to identify and implement enhancements in yield, runtime, quality, and cost.Engineering & Product Support
Manage resources and activities for manufacturing engineering, product design, and support teams. Provide ongoing support for production challenges and troubleshoot complex technical issues.New Product Development & Innovation Lead a team of engineers to:
Develop high-speed cable assembly manufacturing processes aligned with LEANPD product development principles. Enhance existing manufacturing technologies and methods. Implement new technologies to improve process control and precision. Support product development with design for manufacturability (DFM), sample tooling, and prototypes. Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet quality and production standards. Collaborate with supply chain teams to verify supplier compliance and capability.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between product development and manufacturing engineering to ensure seamless integration and execution. Maintain communication with project management to align with strategic business needs. Prioritize and manage multiple projects based on business impact and urgency. Provide updates and readouts to Director and VP-level cross-functional leadership. Coordinate with Dongguan operations to allocate resources for successful new product launches. Facilitate effective communication across a globally matrixed organization. What your background should look like Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role within a multinational manufacturing environment. Strong familiarity with industrial methodologies and tools such as Lean and Six Sigma. At least 2 years of experience in the cable assembly industry is preferred. Fluent in English with excellent presentation and communication skills.
