RESPONSIBILITIES I. JOB SUMMARY: • The Manager is responsible for advising and representing The Queen’s Health Systems and its affiliates (collectively, QHS) in overseeing the Physician Contract Services Department. • Develops, administers, coordinates, and manages functions, activities, and services related to physician contracts for the medical staff organizations of QHS. • Responsible for physician contract strategy development and execution of alignment strategies with physician networks. • Develops, negotiates and executes contracts for physicians and hospital services with QHS medical staff organizations in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A. EDUCATION: • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, finance, health care administration or related field. • Graduate degree in business administration, finance, law, health care administration or related field strongly preferred. B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: • No certification and/or licensure requirement. C. EXPERIENCE: • Five (5) years progressive experience in health care or legal/business, preferably in a comparable organization. • Two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience. • Three (3) years contracting and negotiation experience. • Three (3) years direct/indirect involvement working with physicians preferred.
