Standard 2nd shift hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Shift Differential: $2.00/hr.
+ Special requirements: Ability to program, setup and operate specialty manual equipment such as lathes, mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, shears, and CNC equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in work cell within 60 days of hire: Function as lead if multiple person requirement
+ Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period end and ability to train other employees
+ Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures
+ Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements
+ Strong verbal and written communication
+ Forklift certification capable
+ Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.
+ Ability to train team members
+ Ability to lead Lean events and high-performance teams as required; ability to train team on
+ Lean methodology
+ Participate in 5S activities per Manager request
+ Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem-solving skills
+ Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment.
+ Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.
+ Other assignments as assigned by Management.
+ Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
+ Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Vision: 20/25 vision corrected or uncorrected
+ Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing environment
+ Communication: For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English
+ Mechanical Aptitude: High
+ Strong Math skills – three-digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF).
+ Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
