Metrology Engineer
**Summary:** At Meta Reality Labs, we are developing the future of Wearables and Mixed Reality products and this team focuses on developing display and optics technologies for Meta products. Their mission is to create display systems that seamlessly blend the real and virtual realms. This involves designing the architecture and all display sub-systems for AR glasses based on leading technologies developed by Meta’s teams. We work on creating advanced display technologies that are essential for augmented reality and virtual reality systems while having sub-teams who connect bits, electrons, photons, and experience for display products across wearables and the metaverse while focusing on display silicon architecture, applied perception studies, image quality, and defining the roadmap and long-term platform development strategy. Within display and optics team, we also aim to develop and implement test, characterization, metrology, and data solutions to support the creation of transparent display systems. As a Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom advanced e-beam microscopy based metrology solutions and implementing precise, robust, high‐throughput, accurate metrology and characterization solutions for characterization, performance evaluations of materials, processes, and complex optical display devices. **Required Skills:** Metrology Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Develop recipes, Best Known Methods (BKM), and enablement for automated CLM (Cut Look Measure), SEM and STEM metrology for different applications 2. Work with tech leads, peer engineers to plan and perform measurements for the characterization, metrology of different materials (semiconductors, metals, organic and inorganic) and devices, and can suggest follow-up studies for advanced characterization, failure analysis and reliability issues 3. Analyzing and summarizing characterization, metrology data and communicating these results to internal and external partners 4.
