Primary Objective:
Manages measurement and test equipment (M&TE) that flows through the Metrology and Calibration Laboratory and supports a variety of indirect labor functions for the laboratory staff, infrastructure, and operations. Enters production orders into SAP MRP system, appropriately aligning dates with customer need.
Major Areas of Accountability:
M&TE Processing - Responsible for receiving, acquiring, processing, and delivering M&TE.
Collaborates with internal M&TE users and laboratory technicians to schedule calibrations.Manages incoming (check-in) and outgoing M&TE. Responsibilities include:Database entry.SAP Service Order entry for Metrology, Factory Service, and Transducer Repair Facility.Staging M&TE.Processing outgoing M&TE, including Delivery Notifications. Ensures M&TE is adequately protected and packaged to prevent handling damage.Coordinates the Pick-up and delivery of M&TE to internal customers, where applicable or needed.Operates a variety of powered industrial material handling equipment as required by corporate safety protocols to move M&TE or fixturing.Enters production orders into SAP MRP system, appropriately aligning dates with customer need.Production Volume Support - Leads or assists in supporting calibration production volume and associated material.
Monitors late parts and expedites when necessary to maintain production and delivery requirements.Monitors Dispatch list/report for material issues.Manages non-conforming material.Supports inventory replenishment Kanban- Retrieves Kanban cards from designated locations and perform SAP transactions to trigger replenishment of PSA.Organizes and restocks production material and facilitates inventory counting.Communicates with area technicians, Planner, and management to optimize area throughput.Factory Service Volume Support - Leads or assists in supporting calibration factory service volume and associated material.
Process service orders.Communicates with Order Entry Personnel, Service Manager, Planner, Laboratory Management, and Customer to ensure orders are processed efficiently.Database Asset Management - Active role and responsibility for recalling assets for calibration.
Issues asset management reports to M&TE users at established intervals.Primary laboratories contact regarding asset processing, management, and calibration intervals.Assists training of MTS personnel in database transactions.Laboratory Operations Support - Supports a variety of indirect labor functions for the laboratory staff, infrastructure, and operations.
Assists with the procurement of parts, tools, materials, consumables, etc.Manages dated material.Performs crane inspections, scans and provides monthly records to facilities for accurate record keepingProcesses calibration standards sent out to Calibration Service Providers, including Purchase Requisition tasks.Performs responsibilities in compliance with the laboratory Quality Management System (QMS).Primary laboratories contact for Field Service Engineers, addressing, filtering, and distributing associated communications with laboratory staff.Reviews applicable QMS procedures when applicable, and requests change through area metrologist.Active participant in continuous improvement opportunities.Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:

Compensation Information:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.25-$35.40 depending on relevant education and experience.
