**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Planningdaily activitiesofthe Calibrationtechnicians. Will serve aspointof contact for daily requests for calibration services andescalateurgent calibrationsto technicians. This includes prioritization and assignment oftasks towithin the group.
+ Realizecause analysis on Out-of-Tolerance equipment,assign corrective actions asneededand review the analysis withCalibration Supervisor.
+ Coordinate and plan thecalibrationmoves and transfersin production lines.
+ Executemulti-discipline calibrations and complex measurement systems
+ Generatecalibration assessmentdocument for outside calibration services
+ Provide feedback for the automatization forcalibration functions
+ Design calibration fixtures
+ Select standards for complex/system calibration procedures based on tolerance accuracy ratios,specifications,and measurement uncertainty
+ Complete assigned projects
+ Analyzecomplex repair situations
+ Perform analysis for repair preventionUse and order tools;specify and order parts with attention to safety precautions
+ Use calibration data base systems including history tracking and recall and overdue reports
+ Develop calibration tasks
+ Calibration schedule and workload balance
+ Design calibration lab layouts
+ Review calibration procedures
+ Perform root cause and interval analyses on Out-of-Tolerance equipment
+ Provide formal training to equipment users and other calibration technicians
+ Research and answer user technical measurement questions
+ Perform data analysis and report on equipment measurement studies
+ Perform on the job trainingand technical orientation trainingfor new hires
+ Perform system evaluations for calibration
+ Solve complex calibration/measurement problems
**Shift: Admin (Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)**
**On-Site position**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electric, Mechanics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering, or other related technical fields
+ 2-4yearsinCalibrationroles
+ Knowledgeofcomputer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint). Experience developing calibration test methods on different magnitudes.
+ B2 English level
