Position Title: Metrics Reviewer Project Manager – Remote (PST) Duration: 12+ months with high possibilities of extension Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2 Job Description: We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Metrics Reviewer – Program Manager to lead the evaluation, refinement, and governance of performance metrics across key programs. This role is critical to ensuring that our metrics are not only accurate and meaningful, but also aligned with strategic goals and decision-making frameworks. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and operations—to define success criteria, validate metric integrity, and drive metric adoption across the organization. Responsibilities Metric Governance & Validation • Review and approve new and existing metrics for accuracy, relevance, and consistency. • Ensure metrics adhere to organizational standards and definitions. • Identify and resolve discrepancies or misalignments in metric reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with product managers, analysts, and engineers to understand metric use cases. • Facilitate metric reviews and working sessions with stakeholders. • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure metric clarity. Documentation & Communication • Maintain a centralized repository of approved metrics and definitions. • Create clear documentation and guidance for metric usage and interpretation. • Communicate changes or updates to metrics across impacted teams. Quality Assurance & Auditing • Conduct regular audits of dashboards and reports to ensure metric fidelity. • Monitor metric performance and flag anomalies or inconsistencies. • Recommend improvements to metric design and implementation. Strategic Alignment • Ensure metrics support business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Contribute to the development of metric frameworks and success criteria. • Support leadership in interpreting metric trends and insights. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 5+ years of experience in program management, data analytics, or product operations. • Strong understanding of metric design, validation, and governance. • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Detail-oriented with a passion for data integrity and clarity. Preferred Skills • Experience in agile environments and product development cycles. • Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights. • Knowledge of metric frameworks like OKRs, KPIs, and North Star metrics.
