Metrics and Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customers’ data analysis and visualization capabilities. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for data storytelling, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively. **Qualifications** • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience. • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requirement to start and be maintained. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong portfolio of successful projects. • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages. • **Experience with Tableau is required.** • Excellent data storytelling skills and the ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. • Experience collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets using various analytical tools and techniques. • Design, create, and maintain dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate key business metrics and insights. • Develop reports and presentations to illustrate data trends and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for reports and analyses. • Conduct statistical analysis on data to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. • Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to raise productivity and improve decision-making. • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by performing regular audits and data validation checks. • Provide expertise in data analysis and best practices. • Stay current with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data analysis. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset. • Relevant certifications in data analysis or visualization will be a plus.
