Join our dynamic team as a Methods and Maritime Security Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of the Marine Tanks Terminal and Load Out Facility in Tanzania. Role Overview
Ensure compliance with International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) regulations for the Marine Tanks Terminal, Jetty & Load Out Facility. Oversee the integration of Maritime Security operations between land and sea assets in collaboration with Tanga Port Authorities and Government Security Forces. Provide Maritime Counter Terrorism advice and training for all involved parties. Ensure 24/7 Maritime Security cover for anchorages, shipping channels, and Load Out Facility (LOF). Deliver Maritime Security Training/drills schedules to meet ISPS standards with Private Security Providers and Government Security Forces. Conduct biannual audits of the MTT, Jetty, and LOF to ensure ongoing compliance with ISPS standards. Perform vulnerability assessments of the MTT, Jetty, LOF, and offshore Maritime assets. Assess maritime contractor performance and liaison capabilities. Monitor International, National laws, and Maritime regulations to ensure adherence to best practices. Participate in Maritime Emergency Response and Crisis Management actions. Engage in all Government Security Forces training, drills, and exercises. Develop Maritime Security Plans and security briefings in conjunction with the Maritime Security Contractor. Investigate and document all Maritime Security Incidents, implementing solutions to address any identified shortfalls.Skills & Qualifications
Commissioning expertise in maritime operations. Strong knowledge of port operations and security protocols. Experience in risk assessment and analysis. Proficient in developing and maintaining security plans. Incident and emergency management skills. Access control implementation and supervision experience. Ability to conduct security audits and inspections. Team coordination and supervision capabilities. Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.Education & Experience
