The Opportunity:

As a Skilltech Meter Reader & Field Services Operator, you’ll spend each day on foot in different neighbourhoods, recording gas, water or electricity meter data and, when required, carrying out extra field tasks such as service connections and disconnections. The role is ideal for people who enjoy working solo, love the outdoors and are comfortable with sustained physical activity.

About You:

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicleProven reliability—able to hit tight daily targetsPhysically capable of long‑distance walking and manual tasks in all weatherComfortable working alone and managing your own scheduleSharp eye for detail and a strong safety mindset

Background in the service industry (e.g. cleaning, hospitality, labouring) is highly regarded, practical, on‑your‑feet experience translates well to this job.

Willing to undergo reference checks and a national police check
