KRON4 News is looking for a Daytime Meteorologist and fill-in Host. The position will include providing weather forecasts during KRON4’s midday news and lifestyle block from noon to 5 p.m. Some morning, evening and weekend fill-in may also be required. This position will fill in as lifestyle show host as needed and conduct daily on-set interviews when required. KRON4 News does more news and weather than any other station in the San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate will have a proven understanding of Bay Area weather patterns, including microclimates, along with wildfire and earthquake coverage. 

RESPONSIBILITIES and QUALIFICATIONS include:

3-5 years of on-air experience producing and presenting weather forecastsAbility to analyze meteorological data to produce a forecastProduction of weather graphics to support the forecastClear communication of the details of the forecastExperience hosting and conducting live interviews.Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including different day parts, weekends, and holidaysMust be a self-starter, hard worker, have a great attitude, and be versatile and efficientApplicants should submit a current demo reel, resume and referencesManagement reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as requiredPrevious anchor desk experience preferred.

Compensation: $49.50/HR to commensurate with experience and skill level
