Metal Shop Supervisor Details:

Direct Hire position$70,000.00 to $85,000.00 /annuallyFirst ShiftOversee the day-to-day operations of the shopAssign and coordinate workload for individualsCommunicate and coordinate with production supervisors, engineering, programming, and upper managementControl of material and production flowMaintain the order and efficient flow of the shopMaintain the highest possible quality standards for the departmentAssure that all projects are complete on time according to scheduleAssure the entire department is well-kept and machinery & tools are maintainedResponsible for creating an outstanding team environment

Metal Shop Supervisor Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of employee supervision, minimum 5 years welding experience, minimum 5 years’ production managementCandidates must have strong communication skills, strong math skills, and strategic thinking abilityAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to provide clear and precise instructions, direction, and feedback to production team membersAbility to perform quality assurance on finished products per specificationsStrong computer skills and experience in Microsoft OfficeBe counted on to execute projects on time and with quality work and superior resultsAct with integrity, maintaining the highest ethical standards while managing safety and profitability in mindExcel in a fast-paced environment by working together to achieve shared goalsSeek to strengthen weaknesses to become an all-around team contributor
