Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: $60,000 per year
The Learning Systems Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences that drive measurable performance outcomes. This role blends instructional design, learning technology management, and facilitation, with a strong emphasis on creativity, interactivity, and data-driven improvement. The ideal candidate is equal parts educator, technologist, and storyteller.

Learning Management System (LMS) Development & Management
Build, configure, and maintain LMS platforms, including course structure, user roles, learning paths, and reporting dashboardsManage ongoing LMS administration, updates, integrations, and troubleshootingOptimize the learner experience through thoughtful platform design and navigationDesign & Interactive Course Creation
Design and develop engaging, learner-centered courses using sound instructional design principlesCreate interactive content such as simulations, scenario-based learning, assessments, microlearning modules, and multimedia assetsTranslate complex concepts into clear, accessible, and compelling learning experiencesApply creative design thinking to coursework to increase learner engagement and retentionCompletion Metrics & Learning Analytics
Define, track, and manage course completion metrics and learner progressAnalyze learning data to assess effectiveness, engagement, and knowledge transferProvide insights and recommendations to improve course design and training outcomesEnsure compliance with required training completion and documentation standardsContent Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Maintain and manage a learning content calendarRefresh and iterate on existing coursework based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needsStay current on learning technologies, instructional design trends, and adult learning best practicesQualifications:
Required
Experience in instructional design, training, or learning and developmentHands-on experience building and managing LMS platformsProficiency in creating interactive and multimedia learning contentStrong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design modelsAbility to analyze learning data and translate insights into improvementsPreferred
Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise, or similar)Graphic design, video, or multimedia production experienceFamiliarity with SCORM, xAPI, or similar learning standardsSkills & Competencies
