The OpportunityAs an MES Process Owner, you have the crucial combination of IT and production knowledge and use it to own and drive positive impact in the MES field. You strive to constantly optimize the usage of our MES systems and ensure that the right processes are in place to allow end-users make the most out of the system. Finally, you as MES process owner have the ultimate responsibility that our MES systems are always compliant with current GMP and CSV guidelines.
Your key responsibilities include:Conceptual responsibility for the continuous development of the MES process landscapeLeading process optimization projects using statistical and digital applications, with the aim of continuously improving production workflowsParticipating and contributing to various expert forumsPreparing and updating GMP documentation (e.g., SOPs, rationales, risk analyses, test plans, and reports)Managing system changes and deviations in our QMS systemRepresenting technical areas during audits and inspectionsCollaborating closely with other departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing IT, Materials Management, Value Streams, and Quality Assurance due to the interdisciplinary nature of this roleWho you are:You are a positive, reflective, and responsible individual with strong team skills. You bring an open and collaborative mindset that’s essential for effective teamwork and cross-functional success. You hold a degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Automation, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent qualifications, with 1-2 years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical environment. Familiarity with digitalization is key to success in this role. You bring experience in GMP environments with a deep understanding of quality systems and efficient implementation of GMP requirements.
Additionally, you bring the following skills and competencies:Familiarity with internal GMP audits or inspections from health authoritiesPrevious experience with MES systems (e.g., PharmaSuite, PasX, Syncade etc.)Strong IT skills, with experience in QMS like Veeva being a plusA team player who is comfortable working in matrix and self-organized teamsHigh team spirit, solution orientation, and a collaborative working styleProficiency in both German and English is requiredStrong communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiencesJoin us in driving progress and shaping the future of healthcareReady to take the next step?
