School Social Worker – Merrill Elementary School Location: Merrill Elementary School, Beloit, WI Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Compensation: $45/hour School Year: 2025–2026 Position Summary: Merrill Elementary School is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students. This full-time role is essential in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment while connecting families with vital resources. ?? Key Responsibilities + Conduct individual and group counseling + Support IEPs and 504 Plans + Consult daily with staff and parents regarding interventions and classroom strategies + Perform assessments and make referrals + Develop and deliver social-emotional education modules + Coordinate community and agency referrals + Track attendance and implement intervention plans + Facilitate crisis response protocols + Maintain accurate and timely documentation ?? Education and License Requirements + Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program + LSW required + LCSW preferred + Wisconsin DPI Educator License required ??
