Job Description

The Ecommerce Team Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day execution of order fulfillment for an official merchandise platform. This hands-on and fast-paced role operates within a real-time fulfillment environment. The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting team members during shifts, monitoring operational metrics, and ensuring accurate and efficient order processing.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily ecommerce tasks including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping orders.Coordinate workflow among team members to maintain steady throughput and meet daily fulfillment targets.Help troubleshoot basic order or inventory issues and escalate when necessary.Provide hands-on support and guidance throughout the shift, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.Assist in training new or temporary staff on fulfillment processes and safety practices.Serve as a point of contact for team questions and help maintain a positive, productive work environment.Monitor basic KPIs such as order accuracy and processing times, and share updates with the Operations Manager.Communicate with internal stakeholders to address shipping questions, order discrepancies, or inventory concerns.Notify supervisors of workflow bottlenecks, delays, or operational issues requiring managerial input.Ensure fulfillment activities meet quality standards and brand expectations.Support compliance with warehouse safety protocols and help reinforce a clean, organized workspace.

Essential Skills

Experience in ecommerce, warehouse, or retail fulfillment environments preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.Comfortable providing peer guidance without formal supervisory authority.Ability to lift and move merchandise as required by warehouse operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in logistics and inventory management.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

The position is based on the STL real-time fulfillment setting. The role requires standing, moving, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift. It involves varying shift demands based on campaign schedules and order volume. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, with some flexibility

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
