Position Overview We are seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead our digital marketing and brand initiatives. This role focuses on helping customers discover B&H's photography and electronics solutions through optimized search experiences, effective marketing campaigns, and strategic brand management that deliver genuine value. Key Responsibilities · Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with organic search best practices and customer search behavior · Lead marketing campaign development that provides valuable content and experiences while supporting customers' discovery journey · Partner closely with our SEO team to develop customer-focused solutions that help photographers and other creatives find the right products and information · Manage B&H's brand initiatives including homepage optimization, brand messaging, and promotional strategy to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement · Build and optimize landing pages and brand experiences that effectively guide customers from discovery to purchase · Coordinate seasonal campaigns (holiday, Black Friday) that serve customer needs while working with the SEO team to maintain strong organic visibility Cross-Functional Collaboration · Work alongside technical teams to implement solutions (URL parameters, canonical tags, modular content) that enhance customer experience without creating confusion or duplicate content · Partner with SEO, merchandising, and sales teams to create cohesive customer experiences · Collaborate with the SEO team on technical implementations that support both marketing objectives and search optimization Required Qualifications · Product Management & Customer Experience · 3+ years of product management experience preferably in e-commerce or customer-facing digital products · Strong background in customer journey optimization with understanding of how customers move from discovery to purchase · Cross-functional collaboration experience with SEO, merchandising, and sales teams to create cohesive customer experiences · Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives and technical constraints SEO & Search Marketing Knowledge · Current knowledge of latest SEO trends including AI-driven search features, entity optimization, and technical SEO best practices · Understanding of customer search behavior in e-commerce environments, particularly for technical products · Track record of creating marketing campaigns that genuinely help customers while driving business results · SEO tools proficiency (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console) for improving customer search experiences Technical & Analytics Skills · A/B testing methodology expertise focused on improving customer experience · CMS platform experience and ability to implement customer-friendly technical solutions · HTML/CSS understanding for optimizing customer-facing templates and experiences · Customer behavior analytics knowledge and ability to translate data into actionable improvements · Integrated search marketing familiarity with organic and paid channels, including Google Ads and Shopping campaigns Strategic Thinking & Communication · Stakeholder management skills with ability to advocate for customer needs across teams · Analytical and problem-solving abilities particularly in resolving conflicts between customer experience and business requirements in search optimization · Presentation skills for customer-centric recommendations that drive satisfaction and business growth · Technical translation ability to convert complex concepts into customer experience improvements Preferred Qualifications · E-commerce industry experience particularly in retail or consumer electronics with technical product focus · Experience optimizing customer experiences during major website changes or seasonal campaigns · Familiarity with photography/imaging industry or technical products and customer needs · Experience with Google Ads and SEM platforms for coordinated search marketing strategies What We Offer · Be part of one of New York's most iconic institutions in the creative space and contribute to carrying B&H's legacy of customer excellence into the ecommerce arena · Opportunity to shape customer acquisition strategy for customers passionate about photography and electronics · Direct impact on helping customers discover the right products and solutions for their creative and technical needs We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
