Purpose/Summary:
The Manager, Production Management is responsible for leading the end-to-end production lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality delivery of apparel products from order placement to shipment. This role acts as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, vendors, and brand stakeholders, driving operational excellence and optimizing supply chain performance.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily production management operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Manage vendor relationships and provide strategic direction during order placement, execution, and troubleshooting.
Ensure timely order confirmations, production tracking, and on-time delivery in accordance with the production calendar.
Identify and resolve production risks by collaborating with cross-functional teams, supply chain partners, and vendors.
Represent the production team in Risk Assessment and Cross-Functional Meetings; ensure follow-up actions are executed effectively.
Monitor weekly shipment performance through Order Tracking Reports and Shipment Trackers; provide timely updates to brand partners.
Conduct regular factory visits to assess production status, quality, and compliance; escalate issues with actionable insights.
Manage claims and cancellations; negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure resolution within agreed timelines.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance production efficiency and vendor performance.
Mentor and develop production management team members, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous learning.

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
8 years of experience in the apparel industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role in bulk order production management.
Strong knowledge of production planning, supply chain operations and vendor management.
Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Good command in written and spoken English.
