The Merchandising Coordinator inputs, tracks and ensures the accuracy of vendors funds deal sheets. Researches, validates billing as needed to protect division vendor funds. Also supports the business team as needed related to ad/hoc and custom reporting.

Main responsibilities:

Analyzes product promotions daily/weekly/monthly and reports findings to the CMO and the related business team. General financial analysis support to the merchandising and marketing teams, as requested by the VPMM Assists the accounting and merchandising team in researching gross profit performance by store or department as necessary Works closely with Sales Managers in assigned departments to ensure accurate information is received from vendors and that all deals are in compliance with company policy Tracks receipt of payments from vendors and/or the accuracy of off-invoice funding and provides updates to Sales Managers on issues Maintains data integrity, including resolution of differences with vendors Researches disputed claims/issues. Obtains claims payback authorization from Sales Managers and processes pay backs Ad Hoc / custom reports May also perform related duties as assigned

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

3-5 plus years' experience as a Department Specialist (Pricer), Claims Specialist, of Financial Analyst preferred Experience with the various buying and pricing systems required Highly attentive to details, able to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment High regard for data integrity and proper maintenance of systems Understanding of Marketing and Merchandising terminology Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products and knowledge of proprietary buying and pricing systems Demonstrated leader with the ability to mentor others Ability to function as a team member and get along with others Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled terminal May use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday Stopping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
