Description
We are looking for a Merchandise & Shipping Coordinator to oversee and manage a diverse range of products offered through our client's lifestyle store. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to develop new merchandise ideas, coordinate with vendors, and ensure smooth shipping operations. This position is based in Greer, South Carolina, and may require occasional travel to support national events.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with vendors to place orders for new and existing merchandise, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Handle daily shipping operations to deliver inventory to members, including domestic and occasional international shipments.
• Conduct annual inventory counts for reconciliation purposes and perform additional counts throughout the year as needed.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute holiday-based sales campaigns.
• Partner with creative teams to brainstorm and develop branding concepts, promotional materials, and graphic designs.
• Organize merchandise selections for national events, assist with onsite sales, and travel as required to support these events.
• Work closely with Web Development and Marketing teams to understand product requirements and communication strategies for merchandise promotions.
• Monitor and manage physical inventory to ensure accuracy and availability for special events and regular operations.
Requirements • High School Diploma required; an Associate’s Degree in Project Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Merchandise or Shipping Coordinator role, or a similar position.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency in conducting inventory tracking and reconciliation processes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Experience with asset and physical inventory management.
