ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan baseGreet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendationsExcellent accuracy when using POS systemsDemonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisorPresent merchandise to increase sale with add on itemsMust be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain useKeep current on promotions & sales in store: and events at the speedwayMaintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts. Assist in inventoryContinually increase knowledge of product, facility, and all events held at IMSOther duties as assigned by supervisorMust be able to read & implement plan-o-gramsAssist the Gift Shop set-up team with the merchandising of event gift shops including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, cleaning of shops & fixturesMerchandising skills a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Honesty and integrity in all actions and languageMust be able to take constructive feedback &make necessary changesExcellent customer service and selling skillsBe willing to work extended hours on event daysMust be able to work weekends & overtime as neededHigh school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in comparable companyAccuracy in open & close proceduresAble to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of timeInnovative & self- starter, who can work independently and as part of a team35-40+ hours weeklyFlexibility in Duties & responsibilities as needed in other areas
