The Merchandise Handler Packer is responsible for the processing and packaging of all Crate and Barrel online orders at our Romeoville Distribution Center. We have 3 shifts available to choose from: 

1st shift: Tuesday-Friday 5:00 am - 3:30 pm 

2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am 

4th shift: Sat-Sun-Mon 5:00 am - 5:00 pm 

A day in the life as a Merchandise Handler I, Seasonal Packing Associate 

Make boxes, package merchandise, labeling, filling, and checking items to complete all customer ordersPerform “gift packaging” for each business brand as requiredAccountabilitu for order accuracyAdhere to packaging practices, proper warehousing techniques and standards for good presentation to the customerClean up and dispose boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas

We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

1+ year of experience as Picker, Packer, or Stocker preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentWillingness to move product, supplies and boxes to and from all areas of the Distribution CenterAbility to move and/or lift up to 65 lbs to a height of 3-4 feet; heavier product with team assist

Minimum Starting Rate: $17.50 Hourly

Up to: $19.50 Hourly

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
