Objective
 

To effectively supervise, audit and coordinate the designated technical vendors and deliver the day-to-day maintenance and operation of a multi skilled engineering team for BlackRock sites across the EMEA region


Role Purpose
 

As the MEP Technical & Regional Performance Coordinator, you'll effectively supervise, audit, and coordinate designated technical vendors while managing the day-to-day maintenance operations of a multi-skilled engineering team across an EMEA portfolio. You'll be instrumental in maintaining critical infrastructure to the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.
 

Technical Oversight & Compliance

Ensure all sites operate in accordance with local legislation and company proceduresMonitor vendor health and safety protocols, including proper use of Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements for all MEP and fire systems workValidate technical reports from vendors to ensure they meet client requirements with detailed documentationMaintain plant and utilities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Vendor Management & Performance

Coordinate with technical vendors to ensure 100% statutory compliance and adherence to service level agreementsHold monthly vendor meetings for each location to review performance and address any concernsEnsure maximum equipment availability through efficient maintenance practicesMonitor and enforce the 4-hour 24/7/365 response requirements for third-party vendorsDevelop three-stage mitigation plans when performance issues arise, including site visits when necessary

Operational Excellence

Review and process change management tickets and incident reports according to established proceduresProduce purchase orders, work order numbers, and handle requisition requirements efficientlyOversee the asset management system for small works and PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) requirementsEnsure all work orders are properly completed, issued, and closed in coordination with the UK Corrigo Administrator

Technical Support & Systems Management

Leverage experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) - Schneider DCE experience is particularly valuableMonitor and optimize BMS performance, implementing energy efficiency strategies as agreed with the clientProvide technical support for projects, including commissioning and handover worksAssist with asset listing verification, drawing registers, and file repositoriesUndertake small installation works and repairs to mechanical and electrical plant and equipment

Communication & Reporting

Share key technical updates from breakdowns and services with stakeholders in a timely mannerPrepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on engineering team activities for managementCommunicate effectively in English for system operations and report preparationCollaborate with team members on cross-training initiatives as directed by managementAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport the JLL Engineering Team in developing skills and enhancing performanceBe available for occasional weekend and bank holiday work when requiredProvide on-call support during office emergencies (both in-hours and out-of-hours)Travel to other locations within the EMEA portfolio as neededMaintain a clean and safe workspace, including wearing appropriate PPE when required

Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience supervising multi-skilled building services maintenance in a contracting environmentSpecific experience related to critical infrastructureDemonstrable experience with BMS systems (Schneider DCE experience is highly desirable)

Qualifications (At least two of the following disciplines)

Electrical: C&G2361 Part 1 & 2 or Electro-Technical C&G 2330 and C&G2382-10 (20) 17th Edition BS7671-2008Electrical Testing: C&G2391 Test & Inspection, C&G 2377 PAT TestingMechanical: Mechanical Engineering C&G 2800 Level 3Plumbing: C&G 6089

Additional Valuable Qualifications

Experience issuing Permits to Work (discipline dependent)Low Voltage Authorised Persons Course17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671-2008)NEBOSH qualificationSchneider DCE certification
