MEP Superintendent

A construction client is looking to hire an MEP Superintendent in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves overseeing all on-site construction activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP) systems within a hospital renovation setting. This includes coordinating both MEP and non-MEP contractors to ensure seamless integration of systems and adherence to project timelines. The position requires scheduling and sequencing MEP field workforces through direct engagement with trade supervisors to maintain efficient workflow. Responsibilities also include developing and monitoring construction schedules and manpower charts to align with hospital operational constraints. The candidate will review trade coordination and BIM drawings to ensure constructability and compliance with healthcare-specific standards. Additionally, they will inspect MEP installations for quality, schedule adherence, and budget control, ensuring all work meets the hospital’s stringent safety and regulatory requirements.
