We’re seeking a seasoned MEP Estimator to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing cost planning for large-scale health care and higher education projects. This is a strategic, office-based role with visibility across multiple regions including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina.


🔍 About the Role

As an MEP Estimator, you’ll be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates across all phases of design and construction. You’ll collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing, value engineering, and competitive bids. Your insights will help shape project strategy and client expectations from preconstruction through delivery.


🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of detailed MEP estimates for large-scale institutional and healthcare projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare comprehensive cost breakdownsEvaluate subcontractor bids and perform scope reviews to ensure alignment with project requirementsCollaborate with design teams to identify value engineering and constructability solutionsParticipate in preconstruction meetings and client presentationsMaintain and update historical cost data, unit pricing, and benchmarking toolsStay current on market trends, labor rates, and material costs across supported regionsMentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvement✅ Qualifications8+ years of experience as an MEP Estimator in commercial constructionStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsProven ability to manage cost plans and estimates across all project phasesExperience advising clients on cost strategies and market conditionsProficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with estimating software (e.g., Trimble, Bluebeam ,CostX, or similar)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work on-site in the New York City or Boston office🌟 Why Join?Be part of a firm with a strong reputation for excellence in construction managementWork on impactful projects that shape the built environment across multiple statesCollaborate with experienced professionals in a supportive and innovative cultureEnjoy opportunities for growth, leadership, and long-term career developmentPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $80.00/hr.
