MEP (Electrical) BIM / Revit Modeler

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MEP (Electrical/ELV) BIM / Revit Modeler to join our team! In this role you will support the BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with electrical engineers and other team members to develop detailed design plans for power distribution lighting system, ELV systems using Autodesk Revit MEP 2020 or latest version.
Create accurate and comprehensive 3D models of electrical systems, incorporating power distribution, lighting fixtures, and related components.
Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration and coordination of electrical elements within the overall building model.
Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation to effectively communicate design intent to internal teams, clients, and contractors.
Contribute to lighting design efforts, specifying fixtures and ensuring appropriate lighting levels for different building spaces.
Design power distribution systems, including panel layouts, circuiting, and load calculations.
Participate actively in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, fostering collaboration and coordination among various project stakeholders.
Manage and update Revit models throughout the design and construction phases, incorporating revisions and changes as required.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the electrical models and associated documentation.
Prepare 2D and 3D concept, preliminary, and detailed drawings.
Interpret 2D drawings, specifications, and other project documents to create 3D BIM models using Revit.
Ensure the BIM models accurately represent the design intent and comply with industry standards and codes.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and BIM coordinators to resolve design conflicts and coordination issues.
Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in cost estimation.
Maintain organized file structures and adhere to company BIM standards and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years proven experience as a BIM Modeler.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Civil 3D, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC and other related tools with focus on Electrical Systems
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Have basic knowledge of electrical modeling.
Possess basic skills in creating Revit families.
Be experienced with BIM collaboration tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
