$90,300.00 - $141,094.00

This role is field-based, and requires Associates to travel 30-40% of the time to MVH hospitals and North American hub locations.

Why This Role Matters:

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Partner will assess, drive, and deliver mental health and wellbeing expertise and support to Associates through established programs aligned with our organizational Health & Wellbeing strategies. The Mental Health & Wellbeing Partner works in close partnership with regional, field and hospital leaders across the organization and serves as a Subject Matter Expert.

As a champion for Associate Mental Health & Wellbeing, the role advocates and monitors program participation and utilization. Applying deep expertise and a continuous improvement mindset, the successful candidate assesses outcomes of programs to ensure quality and makes recommendations for enhancements. 

You Will:

Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.Actively contribute to the development and assessment of the Health and Wellbeing team’s multi-year roadmap.Build and maintain relationships with critical stakeholders to assess, drive, and deliver mental health and wellbeing support through established programs.Provide services, training, and consultations to corporate, regional, field and hospital leaders to assist in building leadership competencies and capabilities around Associate mental health and wellbeing.Maintain a thorough understanding of the mental health areas where we can influence and have an impact for our leaders and Associates within the organization and provide tailored programs and services to meet the needs of Associates.Collaborate and partner with the field P&O leaders to provide key mental health insights, information, and resources to help guide decisions in addressing Associate issues.Maintain consistent, accurate documentation of services and activities delivered to the Associate and leaders in our organization while ensuring professional and ethical confidentiality is strictly maintained.Develop materials and present on topics of expertise for Mars Veterinary Health, such as compassion fatigue, stress management, work/life balance, and other applicable mental health and wellbeing topics.Stay current on research and development within the industry around mental health and also veterinary-specific mental health, and cascade within Mars Veterinary Health as beneficial.Travel is required 30% – 40% of the time.

Your Experience Should Include:

A minimum of 4 years of clinical experience.Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work or the equivalent years of experience in the mental health field.Required: An active clinical license, in good standing, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or an equivalent independent clinical license, LCSW preferred.Required: Prior experience leading through influence and collaborating effectively with a diverse team.Preferred: Experience working in a veterinary hospital setting, with 4+ years in macro or meso social work, or in a medical, or social services environment.Preferred: EAP consulting or on-site critical incident response.

Salary Range: $90,300 - $169,312.50

Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.

Special Working Considerations:

Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.

Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.

The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
