Astria Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician Lead to join our team! This is at our Toppenish Hospital. 

 

This is a full time day shift position. 

 

What you get to do every day!

 

This position is responsible for selected patient care activities under the general supervision of the Director, Behavioral Health Services. You will:

 

    Coordinates relevant tasks and provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan.    Performs and provides patient care duties and assists with general hygiene needs.    Completes progress notes on assigned patients per program and hospital policy.    Frequently observes and records patient information pertinent to treatment plan and reports information to clinic team    Provides oversight and support to staff completing documentation per program and hospital policy    Maintains relevant documentation and processes per hospital policy.    Consistently follows and adheres to the hospital’s policies, confidentiality, privacy and corporate compliance programs including federal and state law    Consistently follows and adheres to the hospital’s mission to deliver quality and compassionate health care services to patients.    The person in this position must be able to participate in policy approved physical and mechanical restraint as trained with potentially dysregulated and/or combative patients and maintain personal, patient and staff safety without physical restrictions.    Performs other duties as assigned     Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries     Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.High School graduate or equivalent Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration Washington State Food Handler’s Card 1 year experience working in a behavioral health setting. Preferably with some leadership experience. Pro Act certification within 30 days of hire annual recertification Oral and written fluency in the English language.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Education

Associates degree Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure Bilingual English/Spanish
