The incumbent will be responsible for Commercial Insurance OversightSpecific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: • Organize, coordinate, and participate in commercial insurance oversight initiatives and activities, including reimbursement and network adequacy and access compliance.• Assist in developing and implementing workplans, procedures, and tools for monitoring and ensuring compliance with behavioral health requirements and regulatory standards. • Evaluate insurer performance and compliance with behavioral health requirements and regulatory standards through oversight activities, such as surveys, program monitoring, and citations and enforcement.• Produce survey findings, articulate conclusions, and create summary reports.• Collaborate with a wide range of health plan stakeholders, including other OMH divisions and State agencies, providers, insurers, and trade associations.• Convene and/or participate in internal and interagency work groups.• Support the Bureaus within the Division of Strategic Finance and Managed Care in a broad range of health plan evaluation activities.• Assist the Bureau and Division with the evolving needs and changes related to the oversight of behavioral health services as needed..
