The Family Based Mental Health Professional is a member of the Family Based Mental Health Program and provides therapy to children, adolescents, and their families in the home and community settings. The works includes utilization of various therapeutic methods and techniques as applicable to youth and/or families experiencing problems related to mental health and family crisis. The Family Based Mental Health Professional provides individual and family crisis intervention.

Family Based Mental Health Professional Requirements
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required. (Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience)1+ years' experience working in a Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) working in family services and crisis intervention Successfully participate with the three-year WPIC training program in Structural Family Therapy.Planning and time management as well as strong organizational skills.Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, along with access to a vehicleManagement of work processes along with strong computer skills for documentation purposes.Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.Ability to be flexible especially with scheduling and site locations and to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks.Ability to develop effective working relationship with professional team, parents, schools, CYF and JPO systems.
