Role – Technology Lead/Mendix Lead
Technology – Mendix Web development
Location – Amsterdam, Netherlands

In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Your role:
• Design, develop, and deploy responsive web applications using the Mendix platform.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly front-end interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility.
• Implement dynamic and interactive features using Mendix Studio Pro for web applications.
• Develop microflows, data models, and business logic specific to web-based applications.
• Integrate web applications with external services, APIs, and databases using RESTful APIs and web services.
• Optimize web applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure web applications meet modern design standards.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of web applications.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and bug-free delivery.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate Mendix applications with back-end systems.
• Maintain, update, and enhance existing web applications.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, Mendix platform features, and industry best practices.

Required:
• Experience in web application development using the Mendix platform.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro, with a focus on web development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience in creating responsive and cross-platform web interfaces.
• Knowledge of Microflows for creating business logic within web applications.
• Familiarity with Mendix web UI components and Mendix themes for responsive design.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration methods.
• Understanding of databases and data management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges with web-based applications.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and back-end developers.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications (Optional): Mendix Rapid Developer or Advanced Developer certification is a plus.

Preferred:
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Azure, or Mendix Cloud for deploying web applications.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
