About the project
Customer Services are one area where we truly make a difference; our team helps our customers make the most of the equipment they have ordered from Thales. In this role you will learn about many different Thales customers, including specifically the key relationship we have with the UK Royal Navy, and you will help us to deliver a major business transformation in the way we ensure outstanding customer experiences.
Your role
Be part of the Romanian Mendix Team, part of the Thales Mendix Developers chapter, to deliver cutting-edge customer services applications to be used by our Customers, Employees, Partners and Suppliers across the UK and Thales Group.

Supporting the UK Digital Capability Team, including IS/IT and Customer Services teamsInterfacing with several Customer Services Teams around the UK and their Customers and with the wider Thales UK Services Operations TeamWhat are we looking for?
Are you passionate for technology, do you enjoy constantly developing your skills and are you interested in designing, developing and testing innovative Low-code solutions in an agile way? Then you are the person we are looking for.
As a knowledgeable (prefferably certified in Mendix) developer, you have relevant experience with development of mobile hybrid applications within a Low Code environment, as well as experience with automated testing for Web and mobile applications. You are a driven developer with experience in development using CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, XML and JSON.
You have working experience as part of teams using Agile frameworks, Scrum or Kanban to deliver value to customers. You have basic understanding of DevOps principles and proven experience with and knowledge of software development and testing.
As communication and collaboration are key success factors, you need to have good communication skills and you are able to create a good working relationship between various stakeholders such as the development team members, the IS/IT and Operations teams, and functional leads. You are a team player with strong dedication to achieve common team goals and an energetic person, who approaches work with enthusiasm and a “can-do” attitude. Experience in distributed team environments is desirable.
Preferably, you have a bachelor or master degree in computer science, system or network engineering, IT service management or comparable, and have spent some years as individual contributor in these areas.
An important requirement to fulfil this role is flexibility and the ability to communicate efficiently in English to all types (technical, management) of stakeholders. You are willing to work in the UK for a period of a couple of weeks up to 4 months for the purpose of knowledge transfer.
