Job Description

As part of the global operation team, the product engineer in the BST Suzhou team is resp. for the new products’ ramp up and monitoring the series product’s QCD* aspects via efficient SE-team work.

*QCD: Quality, Cost, Delivery

Optimize product QCD in mass production with product SE-Team​Driving implementation and optimization of production flows and procedures​Reduce overall product cost (RPP) continuously ​Define product KPIs / planning premises and define measures for achievement ​Evaluation and reporting of production-related KPI´s​Ensure proper execution and evaluation of quality safeguarding processes such as EOQC, ORT, Maverick​Resolving of production-related issues​Decision proposal together with product SE-Team on material scrap​Review suitable test limits for production material​Manage changes within SE-Team​Feedback mass production learnings to development

QualificationsBachelor degree (or higher) in Microelectronics or related fieldSelf-motivated, good coordination and moderation skillsGood English in written and verbalGood communication skills and presentation skillsEntrepreneurial mindsetAssertivenessStrong leadership skills in project management workAt least 5 years related work experienceProduction-related data analysis and manufacturing control tools​Statistical process control (e.g. SBL, Maverick, cpk, BOPP)​Quality methods (e.g. 8D, problem solving, failure analysis)​Basic financial/cost understanding (e.g. PPC, EBIT, BC)​

Preferred:

Familiar with MEMS technology and productsFamiliar with semiconductor technology and process (Fab, Assembly, Test)Familiar with qualification and validation for semiconductor/MEMS products and production
