The Memorial Order Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and completing memorial orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and timely execution. This administrative role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to support internal teams and deliver exceptional customer service to our customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Receives and reviews memorial orders from locationsMonitors and manages incoming emails pertaining to memorializationPerforms daily ordering, verifies order confirmations, and upholds continuous logs etc.Ensures that memorials with pending pre-need final disposition are designed correctlyVerifies accuracy, pricing and specifications of memorial orders against the finalized memorial design before submitting for manufacturingMay speak with families to complete memorial designs when sales counselors are unable to do so at the time of sale.  Establishes a follow-up system to track and finalize incomplete orders in a timely mannerParticipates in and facilitates training and skill development opportunities to improve competency and customer serviceAnswers questions and solves problems promptly and as needed by all locationsUnderstands and upholds garden specifications for all cemeteriesReviews posted charges against the memorial order to ensure accurate figuresAdheres to company and market policies, procedures, rules, and controlsAdheres to safety rules and regulations, and reports unsafe practices to managementActs promptly on customer service issues to provide satisfactory resolutionReceives and reviews bronze and granite memorials and checks for accuracy and damagePerforms special assignments and/or projects as requested by direct supervisor and/or market leadership

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

High School or equivalent required

Experience

1 - 2 years of experience in an office clerical or customer service capacity required Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, stay organized and uphold excellent time managementThink critically about work processes, troubleshoot situations, and take remedial actionWorking knowledge of office equipmentMS Office experience with web-based navigationBasic mathematics skills requiredGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and detail orientedHigh level of compassion and integrityAbility to maintain confidentiality

WORK CONDITIONS

Work EnvironmentWork indoors and outdoors during all seasons and weather conditionsLimited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling requiredProfessional Dress is required when in contact with families. Work PosturesFrequent, continuous periods of time standing, up 6 hours per daySitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per dayClimbing stairs to access buildings frequentlyPhysical DemandsPhysical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, computers and phoneWork HoursWorking beyond “standard” hours as the need arises

Compensation: 

 

Salary: $18.00/hr.
