Annual compensation: $74k-$80k BOE, bonus eligible.

Primary Role The Membership Sales Director leads the prospecting, sales, and onboarding/connection activities, contributing to the overall success of the club by: Meeting or exceeding stated sales, revenue, and retention goals Leading and directing the marketing, communications and overall membership sales strategy Consistently interacting with members, prospects, coworkers and management team with a positive attitude and focusing on a culture of hospitality, leadership and mutual respect

Essential Duties

Membership Sales and Retention Drive membership sales for all membership categories through diversified membership sales promotions that communicate the benefits of membership. Leads the content, production/packaging, and delivery of thorough and accurate new member onboarding process. Initiate programs and activities that contribute to the retention of all members. Membership Activities Coordination Create and implement a diversified weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual event calendar with a balance of activities that bring focus to the member needs and wants. Membership Communications Database email communications on the 1st and 15th of each month providing members with information about club and resort activities. Develop a bi-annual hardcopy newsletter that promotes the positive lifestyle of Tapatio Springs Resort and membership. Community Spokesperson Strong liaison to community organizations to include but not limited to Boerne Chamber of Commerce and North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Create and maintain exceptional ties to area real estate representatives. Membership Reporting & Accounting Effectively reports, tracks and communicates results & data. Implements and manages a membership prospect/sales report and uses to track leads (quantity and source), prospect pipeline (sorted by rank), sales (paced by budget), upgrades, downgrades and attrition. Develops and adheres to departmental budget. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in hospitality, membership/event sales, guest services or related industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong social skills. Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations. Strong organizational skills including time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking. Ability to work cooperatively with other departments and committees to attain club goals. Proficient in all areas of administrative duties, including general accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher). Proficient in Canva or other graphic design software. Current driver’s license. Working Conditions Qualified candidates understand that sales and service to members and potential members takes place during the availability of the customer’s schedule. Working weekends, holidays, and off hours are required regularly. Physical Requirements Qualified candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time and use stairs. Must be able to lift, squat and/or move objects up to 20 pounds.
