Member Services Representative - Loan Processing
Job Title: Member Services Representative - Loan ProcessingJob Description As a Member Services Representative - Loan Processing, you will be responsible for creating new mortgage loans and processing applications for the purchase or refinance of real estate. You will have the opportunity to work with one of the largest Credit Union lenders in North Texas, ensuring accurate and efficient loan processing. Responsibilities + Prepare pre-closing Loan Quality Initiative requirements, perform credit analysis, and ensure quality control of loan information. + Provide accurate closing and funding of mortgage loans across all 50 states and the Virgin Islands using the Prime Alliance LFC system. + Serve as a backup for initial member contact through incoming phone calls and taking applications via the Prime Alliance loan origination system. + Represent the Mortgage Department in various Credit Union events, seminars, and special projects as directed by the management staff. + Meet deadlines and assist with production goals. + Ensure the security and confidentiality of all account and related information, complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience in loan processing, data entry, and consumer lending. + Understanding of mortgage or auto loan processing, with a preference for experience in personal loans. + Strong background in data processing, loan servicing, and banking. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + Previous experience in banking or Credit Union environments is preferred. + Knowledge of FNMA, NCUA, and AAFCU Mortgage Lending Guidelines is advantageous. + Experience in residential mortgage closing and funding is preferred. + Working knowledge of PC software, including Desktop Underwriting, Prime Alliance, and Episys is a plus. + Bilingual abilities in Spanish are beneficial. Work Environment The position is onsite at AACU, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. The work environment is dynamic and diverse, requiring the ability to adapt quickly and work well under deadlines and high-volume pressure. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
