**Job Title: Melt Tech** **Job Description** The primary function of the Melt Tech is to assist wherever needed in the foundry, which could involve taking temperatures before a pour, sweeping, removing trash, refilling sand, and supporting molders in their work. **Responsibilities** + Take temperatures during pours. + Prepare molds and use a bobcat to transport sand to molding areas. + Maintain proper housekeeping in and around work areas. + Stock consumables for molding areas. + Stay on task and achieve production goals each day. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to understand quality and safety standards. + Capability to stand at a work station for prolonged periods. + Proficiency in operating hilo, lift truck, bobcat, or hoist. + Strength to push, pull, and lift up to 75 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor and production roles. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and dedication. The role is scheduled for the first shift from 6 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
