Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance. Perform general office duties to support MSE Managers. Prepare event related documents in the planning process. Gather materials and assemble information packages for Managers as needed for clients. Respond to clients via telephone, email, or in person on behalf of MSE Manager in their absence. The ideal candidate will have: + College degree or business school training. + Familiarity with preparing statistical reports. + Previous experience in hospitality industry, preferably a 5 star hotel. + Two years administrative experience with at least 1 year of job related work experience + Clear and pleasant communication in English (written, verbal) + Able to work autonomously as well as in a group + Highly demanding work environment which may include weekends, public holidays or longer days. + Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. + Previous customer service experience. + Thorough operation of all Microsoft Office programs.
