What You'll Do
Our Global Meetings & Events (M&E) team focuses on creating safe and inspiring environments that bring people together to enable deep connections, accelerate capability building, and create global impact. The group partners closely with senior leaders, functional and regional event teams, and individual meeting planners across the company to enhance overall event experience while creating efficiencies and scale, and lowering risk for all meeting formats (in-person, virtual, & hybrid).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Under the direction of the Meetings & Events Management Senior Director, the Meetings & Event Program Manager will provide operational expertise and day-of management for medium to large-scale programs, accommodating 400 to 3000+ attendees, across all meeting formats including in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, potentially including the bi-annual BCG Worldwide Officer Meeting (WWOM). The role involves building and growing relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a thought partner in innovation, and driving operational excellence.
The Meetings & Events Program Manager will collaborate across multiple functions within BCG to ensure compliance with financial, risk, and legal requirements, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes for each event.
The incumbent in this role will:
Lead and manage a team of internal and external BCG resources, effectively deploying and guiding them to produce high-value, cost-effective, high-visibility, regional and global events, encompassing all logistics, contract negotiations, vendor arrangements, budget and team management, and on-site support.Select and manage partners, preferably from the M&E approved suppliers list, overseeing outsourced elements such as DMCs, production companies, and freelancers, and engaging relevant BCG functional experts, including Safety & Security, Travel, Design Studios, and Meeting & Events when additional expertise is needed.Engage with senior leaders and steering committee members to ensure their goals and objectives are met while serving as the primary contact for internal clients' event needs, providing strategic thought partnership, operational expertise, and management experience for high-value, high-visibility events across all meeting formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid). Approach problems in a structured way, proactively identifying solutions and understanding their impact, bringing innovation and creativity to service delivery, always keeping an eye on efficiencies needed within the team. Document learnings and improvements for future events.Play a critical role in fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and analytical insight within the M&E team, leading by example and promote a customer-centric approach, combining hands-on delivery with effective team deployment.YOU ARE GOOD AT

Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Events, or a related field, or equivalent experienceTypically 6–8+ years of progressive experience in event or program management, preferably in a global, corporate environmentProven people management experience, including leading distributed and cross-functional teamsDemonstrated experience delivering large-scale, high-visibility events across multiple formatsStrong change management and operational leadership experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages a plusTechnical & Functional Skills
Deep expertise across event services, including logistics, production, accommodations, F&B, space planning, and experience designStrong proficiency with digital and event management tools (e.g., Cvent, project management platforms, collaboration tools)Solid understanding of contracting, vendor management, budgeting, and risk frameworksAdditional info
