Job Description​

Are you a compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurse looking for a supportive and collaborative environment? Allen County Regional Hospital is seeking an RN to join our Medical Surgical Department. This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality, hands-on care while working with a close-knit, professional team.

Shift: Full Time Days (12 hr shifts)

The Work You Will Do:

Deliver patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practices

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans

Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures

Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Kansas (or compact license)

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

A commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and quality care

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures
