Medical Staff Services Professionals are the gatekeepers of patient safety – the first point in healthcare delivery, connecting providers and healthcare practitioners with patients.
The Medical Staff Specialist role includes responsibilities such as: Supporting the Medical Affairs Department with Medical Staff meeting management for four Morton Plant Mease Hospitals (Microsoft Calendar management skills) as well as adaptability to document management imaging software and processes in a fast-paced, clinical provider friendly environment. This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills with growth and learning opportunities in the field of Medical Staff Services.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assuring departmental and hospital regulatory compliance with the credentialing and re-credentialing processes requiring Medical Staff committee approval. Monitors practitioner membership and privileging eligibility and maintains credentialing and other Medical Staff Office data bases.
