Location/Division Specific Information

This role will be embedded within a client dedicated team. You will work alongside the clients own experienced personnel, as well as PPD colleagues to deliver innovative clinical support.

Clinical Engagement & Education

Serve as a trusted resource for HCPs, KOLs, and professional societies, providing evidence-based education on the disease state management and clinical best practices.Deliver presentations, arrange and/or conduct training sessions, and facilitate discussions at medical conferences, workshops, and educational events in order to help launch the product on the German marketProactively identify and develop long term peer-to-peer relationships with opinion leaders and other relevant stakeholders in order to understand their needs, segment them accordingly and implement targeted approach and tactics in order to present medical data in the most efficient way to help deliver Deciphera’s mission

Key Opinion Leader & Stakeholder Collaboration

Identify those KOLs in the region who are the most influential (by assessing their publication history, if they write guidelines, if they are head of departments etc.,), research each KOL to get an understanding of their main interests and any pain points or challenges they are currently facing, set up meetings and ask them open questions in order to understand their needs and develop a medical communication plan to ensure the most relevant information is presented to them in the most efficient way and add value to them while also identifying any collaboration opportunities between Deciphera and the KOLsBuild and maintain relationships with KOLs, clinical champions, and influential stakeholders to drive awareness and clinical adoption.Collaborate with medical societies and advocacy groups to support initiatives aligned with improving patient care in order to make the Deciphera differenceIf needed, act as a liaison between the field and internal Medical Affairs, gathering clinical insights to inform research, product development, and strategy
 

Field Insights & Strategic Contribution

Curate and analyze field-based clinical insights to inform strategic decision-making, ensuring findings are actionable and linked to key business challengesIdentify and communicate emerging trends, barriers to adoption, and opportunities to enhance patient outcomesSupport the development of scientific content, including clinical presentations, white papers, and educational materials by providing field feedback

Keys to Success:

Advanced clinical degree preferred (RN, RRT, NP, PA, PharmD, PhD).5+ years of experience in a clinical, medical affairs, or field-based role within the med tech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industryStrong knowledge of oncology and orthopedic therapeutic areas preferredExperience engaging with KOLs, HCPs, and medical societies in a scientific or educational capacity.Business Acumen – Understanding of the company’s strategic goals, financial considerations, and stakeholder needs to align activities accordinglyAbility to translate complex scientific data into practical applications for diverse audiences.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel 60-75% of the time to engage with stakeholders, attend conferences, and support field activities.
