Site Name: Field Worker - PAN Posted Date: Sep 5 2025 The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL), is a scientific expert who builds long term partnerships with the healthcare community by engaging them across an asset's lifecycle to gather medical insights, support evidence-based understanding of our science, and help inform patient care decisions. Key Responsibilities Gather insights on current and future treatment paradigms, patient unmet needs, and competitive dynamics that inform research and strategy; partner with matrix colleagues (sales, marketing, market access, etc.) to ensure strategies and business plans are patient and business-focused and add value to external experts. Communicate scientific evidence that advances acknowledgment, understanding, and implementation of new healthcare paradigms, and addresses medical unmet needs in line with Strategic Scientific Objectives. Foster collaboration between external stakeholders and GSK on research activities, medical education, and other opportunities that accelerate the future of science and improve patient outcomes. Participate in congresses, with key activities including gathering insights during engagements and other activities (e.g., symposia), staffing Medical Booths, participating in and supporting execution of advisory boards, and reporting insights after the congress during a scientific report session (if applicable). Respond to unsolicited requests for Medical Information from healthcare providers in a fair, factual, balanced, and scientifically rigorous manner via the appropriate and preferred channel, and disseminate important safety information to healthcare professionals as and when this emerges. Fully understand and comply with GSK standards and policies as well as local codes of practice, guidelines, and laws to ensure the strictest requirements are met. Qualifications Degree in medical or other life sciences with at least 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in respiratory, along with solid grounding in clinical, medical, and pharmaceutical science with the ability to rapidly assimilate specific and detailed knowledge in these areas. An understanding of clinical development, statistical design, and analysis, paired with the ability to interpret and translate complex scientific data into simple messages in the context of overall patient care. Strong business mindset, understanding of external market dynamics, and ability to balance cross-functional objectives while leveraging digital tools to identify and prioritize external stakeholders to enhance overall external engagement. Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with external stakeholders, coupled with effective communication and listening skills, with the right level of curiosity and agility to tailor information to different audiences appropriately. Ability to effectively use multi-channel communication tools to engage external stakeholders and disseminate information clearly and efficiently.
