The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden location - Abbott Diagnostics GmbH in the Point of Care division. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key heath and therapeutic areas, including infections disease, cardiometabolic, informatics and toxicology.
Your Tasks:
Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, clinical investigators, and healthcare professionals in the POC diagnostics spacePresent and discuss clinical data, product performance, and diagnostic utility at medical meetings, advisory boards, and educational forumsRespond to unsolicited medical inquiries and provide accurate, balanced, and evidence-based informationCollect and report field insights to inform medical and commercial strategiesMonitor competitor activity and emerging trends in POC diagnostics and related therapeutic areasAssist with site identification, feasibility assessments, and coordination of clinical trialsCollaborate with investigators and research teams to support study execution and data disseminationPartner with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure alignment of scientific messagingContribute to the development of medical education materials and training programsEnsure all interactions and activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelinesYour Qualification:
Medical Degree (MD/DO/MBBS) or Doctorate, ideally in a life sciences or medical fieldExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong understanding of POC technologies, clinical workflows, and diagnostic pathwaysExperience in a Medical Affairs or MSL role, within diagnostics or medical devices preferredPreferred experience in infectious disease, cardiology, or emergency medicine diagnosticsFluent in German and EnglishFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
