Main Responsibilities

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will:

Build and maintain scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes

Provide scientific and clinical expertise on Sanofi's therapeutic areas, pipeline products, and approved medications through peer-to-peer scientific exchange

Support clinical research initiatives by identifying potential investigators, facilitating study site selection, and ensuring scientific integrity throughout the research process

Deliver high-quality medical education through presentations, advisory boards, and scientific symposia to healthcare communities

Gather and analyze medical insights from the field to inform internal stakeholders on treatment trends, unmet medical needs, and competitive landscape developments

Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned scientific messaging and strategy

Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals with evidence-based, balanced scientific information

Support publication planning and contribute to the development of scientific materials, abstracts, and manuscripts

About You

MD, PharmD, PhD or advanced scientific degree in life sciences or related field

2 + years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs or clinical research

Strong scientific background and understanding of Respiratory therapeutic area

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex scientific information effectively

Experience in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders

Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and verbal)

Willingness to travel within Romania (approximately 60% of time)

Proficiency in digital engagement platforms and virtual communication tools
