The **Medical Science Liaison (MSL)** serves as a field-based expert responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), regularly engaging with them, organizing medical education events in collaboration with the Field Medical Advisor and Medical Manager, and executing the medical strategy for the assigned therapeutic area. This role is tasked with elevating awareness and demonstrating the added value of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM)'s Oncology portfolio, implementing pre-launch and launch initiatives fully aligned with the overarching medical strategy through value-driven discussions, proactive cross-functional collaboration, and high engagement with external stakeholders.
A critical aspect of the MSL position includes providing robust scientific support both internally and externally, delivering training to internal teams to uphold the highest standards of therapy expertise. The MSL is expected to foster transparent and constructive communication that supports a trustworthy and collaborative environment, thereby reinforcing J&J's reputation for credibility and excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and KOLs.
+ Engage regularly with scientific experts via face-to-face meetings (minimum 90% field-based), educational sessions, and conferences.
+ Gather expert insights and communicate findings across functions.
+ Develop and implement regional engagement strategies based on the MAF plan.
+ Enhance understanding and perceived value of the J&J IM Oncology portfolio.
+ Deliver scientific support to both internal and external stakeholders in response to clinical inquiries.
+ Facilitate knowledge sharing with internal teams through training initiatives to ensure exemplary standards of therapeutic expertise.
+ Provide market insights regarding the competitive landscape, promotional and clinical strategies, and competitor activities.
+ Cultivate advocacy among KOLs within the trusted therapeutic area.
+ Ensure effective collaboration within the Country Value Team (CVT).
+ Analyze and interpret the competitive landscape in Multiple Myeloma and related diseases.
+ Develop and deliver scientific and medical content for advisory boards.
+ Represent J&J IM as an external speaker.
+ Maintain ongoing dialogue to generate value for patients, customers, and J&J IM.
+ Collect and relay information to support Market Access (HEMAR) activities, ensuring appropriate product positioning and documentation for initial and continued access.
+ Adhere to all local regulations and internal compliance policies daily.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
+ University degree in a healthcare-related discipline required.
+ Postgraduate degree is preferred but not mandatory.
+ Prior industry experience not essential; suitable for recent graduates or individuals with less than two years of experience.
+ Advanced proficiency in English required.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Proficiency in interpreting and communicating scientific and clinical data.
+ Experience utilizing research and analytical tools.
+ Exemplary verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.
+ Advanced critical thinking and analytical acumen.
