We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Scheduling Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare support team. This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under pressure, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate empathy and professionalism in every interaction. This position requires a high level of accuracy, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately.
+ Ensure compliance with established scheduling policies and procedures.
+ Communicate appointment details clearly to patients and internal teams.
+ Audit and complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.
+ Maintain high-quality standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors on a daily basis.
+ Demonstrate core values such as purpose, excellence, compassion, and teamwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a call center or customer service role.
+ Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry.
+ Ability to adapt to different departments and changing priorities.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Quick thinking and professional response to customer inquiries.
+ Empathy and a customer-first mindset.
+ High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Bilingual skills (a plus).
+ Experience with healthcare scheduling systems (a plus).
Disqualifiers:
+ CNA experience is not aligned with this role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
