Responsibilities Build and maintain accurate client medical recordsAccess client electronic personal health information from server, print and file in client medical records chartRespond to requests for medical records from internal and external sources according to Pate policy, HIPAA, and state law, including preparation and submission of invoices for copying of recordsMaintain security and privacy of medical records storage areasMonitor and document the client/family follow-up systemMaintain and destroy medical records according to retention schedule and Pate policyMaintain a working knowledge of HIPAA and other laws regarding confidentiality, including Pate policyPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent organizational skills Professional telephone etiquetteProficiency in MS Office SuiteMust pass all pre-employment and employment verifications About our Line of Business Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, provides evidence-based physical, occupational, speech/language, and neurocognitive therapies, as well as vocational rehabilitation, to advance and accelerate patient recovery – helping individuals suffering from an acquired brain injury return to a high quality of life.
